Ready for the horse of a lifetime? Wayllen could be just who you’re looking for!
This 16.2 flashy gelding is the whole package: brains, beauty, and athleticism. He could truly go in any direction with the right partner. An impressive mover, he would excel in the dressage ring.
Wayllen is a quick learner who looks forward to his daily training sessions. He tries hard to please and always gives his best effort, even when introduced to something new. Wayllen has been started under saddle and is working on suppleness, strength, and flexibility. This guy extremely sensible — he does fine with dogs, loud noises, snow coming off the arena, new sights, and anything else we’ve put in front of him. He’s an extremely sensible young man!
Wayllen is playful, kind, and curious, with tons of character that emerges more and more every day. He is a people-oriented and friendly horse who brightens up the barn with his sweet face and harmless antics.
UPDATE 10/19: In June, Wayllen experienced a pasture injury to his SDFT. His rehabilitation is going smoothly and he is expected to make a full recovery. Our DVM estimates he will be ready to roll in about 4 months.
We are in search of an experienced horse person to complete his rehabilitation and put the finishing touches on his retraining. His veterinary records and images will be made available. Spend the first part of the winter getting to know Wayllen while he heals, then be ready to begin retraining the horse of your dreams.
Adopt Wayllen, complete his rehabilitation and retraining and end up with an outstanding young prospect. All we ask for in return is a tax-deductible donation of your choice to AFTER the Track.
Wayllen’s adoption fee may go up with continued training.
