Baloo (Jimmy’s Too Blue) came to us in November, 2012 as a 4 year old with 16 starts under her belt. Of course we immediately loved her, being related to Turbo and Pi via her great, great grandfather, Mr. Prospector. Mr. Prospector is Turbo and Pi’s grandfather, and Mick’s (Real Irish) great grandfather. Seems we love that line here at AFTER the Track. Baloo has impressed us all with her calm demeanor, solid work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
Christy and Baloo formally became a team in February and have been an impressive partnership since, again demonstrating that OTTBs can be wonderful mounts for adult amateurs. Baloo is brave and willing on the trail and always happy to work in the ring. Christy is doing a lovely job with her training and keeps her looking like a supermodel with classy apparel and up to date hair styling. If Baloo could wear make up, she would.
Congratulations to Baloo and Christy.

Flashy Bull – Hey Hey Renee, by Iridescence
Diva was born on February 10, 2009 and raced for 2 years with 21 starts. Daughter of Flashy Bull, Diva impressed us with her classy elegance and kind eye. She arrived at AFTER the Track on September 29, 2013 and happily delved into her new career as a sporthorse. Kelly Hamshaw helped with Diva’s retraining during her first year here at AFTER the Track and it was wonderful to see the connection that developed between them. The smile on Kelly’s face when she rides Diva is contagious. On October 1, 2014 Kelly and Diva became an official team and the two couldn’t be a better match. Kelly’s quiet, calm, classical riding style suits Diva just fine, and Diva’s willingness to go places, learn new skills and accept Kelly’s love and affection makes her Kelly’s perfect partner. We expect them to enjoy many happy years together.
