AFTER Grad, Wild Pioneer, Wins at GMHA

Pi and Kate at a hunter-jumper show in May.

After two summers of hard work at Novice, AFTER graduate Wild Pioneer (“Pi”) and his human, Kate Nolfi, took the GMHA Fall Festival by storm on Friday, August 8th!

In a sizeable class with plenty of competition, Pi and Kate put on a killer dressage test, scoring 23.80 and leaving the first phase of the day in first place. They bounced through stadium without a fault, which left only cross-country, with a fraction of a point between them and second place!

No need to worry, though. The pair sailed through XC well under time, jumping clear and happily on a beautiful August afternoon. It was an amazing day for the team and a huge win!

We’re so, so thrilled for Pi and Kate, and proud of all of the work they put in to make their day possible. They’re showing New England just how spectacular a partner OTTBs make, in all three rings!

Pi and Kate found each other in late 2015, after Pi had been in training with AFTER the Track. We always loved his personality and game attitude. He and Kate are a perfect pair!

This team hopes to move up to Training Level soon, which should be just fine for our 17.2hh graduate. Happy trails, you two!
